“Cebi” combines her Kinesiology background and osteopathic training to support clients with acute and chronic pain, mobility restrictions, women’s health concerns, pregnancy-related discomfort, and pediatric osteopathy. Her approach blends individualized hands-on treatment, remedial exercise, and practical self-care guidance to help clients move and feel better.

Ceb’sile’s passion for health combined with her fascination for the human body and her desire to help people, is what initially led her to Osteopathy.

After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology at York University in 2011, Ceb’sile began her path in healthcare, by working as a personal trainer. However, although she thoroughly enjoyed helping clients reach their fitness goals, Ceb’sile was always more intrigued by clients who had restrictions in their training plans due to injury or health conditions. This inspired her to gain a deeper understanding of the body so she could go one step further: helping clients treat a variety of conditions, restore mobility and balance, and support their overall health.

Now a graduate of the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy and a member of the Ontario Federation of Osteopathic Professionals, Ceb’sile has gained experience in the treatment of chronic and acute conditions, with a special interest in women’s health and pediatric osteopathy. As a mother of two young children, she also brings a grounded, patient, and practical understanding to her work with babies, children, and families. During her training, Ceb’sile completed her thesis on: An Osteopathic Approach in the Treatment of Dysmenorrhea.

In accordance with osteopathic philosophy, Ceb’sile’s approach is not only to address the presenting symptoms, but also to consider the underlying factors that may be contributing to the issue.

As she explains:

“Treatment is aimed at providing relief while also helping prevent the issue from continuing or recurring.”

In addition to hands-on osteopathic treatment, Ceb’sile may provide remedial exercises and practical lifestyle or self-care guidance to support treatment outcomes between appointments.

Her approach is not one-size-fits-all. She considers how pain, posture, mobility, stress, health history, and movement patterns may be contributing to the issue.

Your first appointment includes a detailed health history, discussion of your main concern, and an osteopathic assessment. Ceb’sile may look at posture, mobility, areas of restriction, movement patterns, and how different parts of the body may be contributing to your symptoms.

Treatment is hands-on, gentle, and adapted to your comfort level. She may also provide exercises or self-care suggestions to support your progress between visits.

Pediatric osteopathy is gentle, calm, and adapted to the child’s age and needs. Ceb’sile may ask about birth history, feeding, sleep, digestion, movement, posture, and developmental concerns.

Treatment for babies and children is never forceful. The goal is to support comfort, mobility, and overall function while keeping the child as relaxed and secure as possible.

Ceb’sile works with clients experiencing pregnancy-related back pain, pelvic discomfort, postural changes, muscle tension, and mobility restrictions. Osteopathic treatment during pregnancy is adapted to the stage of pregnancy, the client’s comfort, and any relevant health considerations.

Clients should always let Ceb’sile know about their pregnancy history, medical concerns, and any recommendations from their primary healthcare provider.

Osteopathic care may be helpful for some clients experiencing tension headaches, TMJ-related discomfort, chronic pain, or recurring muscle and joint tension. Treatment focuses on mobility, tissue tension, posture, and whole-body patterns that may be contributing to the issue.

Because chronic pain can be complex, Ceb’sile takes an individualized approach and may suggest ongoing care, self-care strategies, or referral to another provider when appropriate.
